Clement is a weak choice, the much weaker of the two Ediths.
I'm not sure what you mean by "weaker". Both of them are very smart, conservative women. I would hate for the Fifth Circuit to lose either one of them, but on the other hand, I think either would be a wonderful Supreme Court Justice.
