This is already a worldwide incident. It is a terrible black eye for America around the world. Some people may not care a fart about that. But I'll tell you, the international image has suffered immensely. I get many difficult to answer questions now from a lot of people overseas. Bad. America has a responsibility to treat it's guests well, too, and try to get them back home, if they ever want guests again...

I'm scrolling back up to reply to you specifically. You're a smart person.

The mayor did the right thing because they don't have control of the city.

If those white tourists ended up raped or worse, it could expose all sorts of ugly stuff about his constituency.

So, let's not pretend to be perplexed, okay?

#24..From what I understand, or have read....one of the larger hotels ordered buses to get their tourists out, and when the buses arrived, they were commandeered by...????

..I think, local authorities.

The fact that some tourists yesterday got to go to the head of the busline may be because of this very incident.

I would imagine some CEO of some hotel chain got the job done.

I live in Florida, and we treat those tourists extremely well...Good, Bad or Indifferent. They, on the other hand, can be extremely difficult to deal with at the best of times. So whether they return to this Country or not, I couldn't care less. In fact I'd rather some of them didn't.
