That partially explains why gas futures are down today. Some LA refineries are working just fine. Hope those 20 EU ships carrying oil make it here quick.

There are also some dozens of cargoes of European gasoline on the way. Shipping rates are up 10% in 2 days' time. This would not be occurring had EPA not suspended the sulfur and volatility regs, btw, so -- for once -- the bureaudorks have got something right. They're going to have to keep these regs on suspension for more than 15 days, though, or there'll be hell to pay.

Is this lot bright enough to figure this last part out? Stay tuned, as they say. No bets from here.
