Rudy G had absolute heros working for him...up and down the line...from supervisors to front-line cops. Rudy G could call upon any other mayor in the entire region and say what he needed, and he got it. Rudy G could go on the air and ask 10,000 New Yorkers to come out and haul debris from the 9-11 site for 12 hours a day...with no pay...and 40,000 would have shown up. Rudy G gave respect to every man that worked in the city...knowing they earned it. Rudy G could go 48 hours straight without sleep and still give a 4-star press conference, and make you weep. Rudy G could just look at you...and ask the impossible...and you'd draw that bit of inspiration and sweat...and deliver for the man. When Rudy G sobbed...you felt down in your own gut...the man held your soul in his hands.
What we see in NO...is a leader of no comparison to Rudy G. The city choose this man, and they got what they deserved. For any American...you should look at the folks you hire for your community and state...and ask yourself if they can deliver leadership. You don't need more politicans in office...you need leaders.
Yep.
