Yes, and this is the point. It is not a case of "your country is bigger than my country" scholl bully stuff.
American Citizens are needlessly dying because the rescue effort is atrocious.
For the most powerful country in the world to be able to send doctors and medicine to Indonesia within a few days of the tsunami but not to the Superdome in New Orleans in five is astonishing.
Someone is to blame for that, and to face up to that may be painful to Americans, but it will save lives.
Burying your head in the sand will not.
Just a quick thought... It WAS the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT that sent the aid to the Tsunami ravaged countries. That's the thing, in this case, the Federal Government isn't in charge of the relief efforts. At least they weren't until the lame-a$$ governor of LA realized she didn't know how to run her state. Definitely not Bush's fault, he didn't appoint her, she was elected by the same criminal element that is destroying the city right now.
Oh, and as far as your criticism of our troops goes... we don't care what you think. Really, we don't.
Typical entrenched euro-socialist thinking--don't look at the problem analytically or try to come up with a solution--just find a plausible scapegoat on whom to fix the blame. Yeah, that will sure help the hapless chumps laying around on the pavement waiting for someone to rescue them.
