"God is not obligated to show me anything."
So why are you blaming Him for the hurricane and the aftermath?
You seem to WANT it to be a sign.

That doesn't sound like a smart marketing strategy.God need not to do marketing just to have people believe in Him or accept Him... we need Him...
If there would be some people who would come to know God this way, good for them! Now they realize that...

try the Book of Job. I suspect seeing your reflection thrice shall do you a spot of good.

Well, you should tell Him to move over and let you take control.I don't want to take control.
I also want you to stop defining God in your narrow, self-righteous way.

I haven't blamed God for anything. All I said, was that God is in control of all things. If anyone is to blame, it's a sinful world who refuse to listen to Him who is in control.

"I hope he tells me before he takes out Boston..."I love Boston, as I do New Orleans, but I also recognize that both could be on the top of a biblical judgment list, if such a list were to exist.
By the way, if I get any advance word through some sort of prophetic dream or something I'll be sure and pass it on to you if you promise to call my relatives in Arlington and give them the heads up!

If there would be some people who would come to know God this way, good for them! Now they realize that... So you think people are going to accept God because He killed thousands of people in a hurricane?

Just following the Master, who was quite narrow-minded mind you. I believe He said, "straight it the way, and NARROW is the gate that leads to LIFE, and few there be that find it.' Also said that He was the only way to God. He was pretty narrow-minded as well.
To: bootslee
Jesus was only narrow to the narrow-minded.

"I haven't blamed God for anything."
Then what about the deaths, the destruction, and the like in New Orleans, Boluxi, Gulfport Mississippi?
Tell me, in your opinion, why?
Hmmm?
Are you sure you want to accuse God of wrong doing?
If you want to say that God SENT the hurricane to destroy the place, then you are accusing God of wrong doing.
EVEN if it makes you comfortable to think that those people died because they 'deserved it', you are still accusing God of wrong doing.

You mentioned true love.
I suggest you read 1 Corinthians 13 verses 4 through 13..
It goes counter to what you said.

I've read Job more times than I can count. I know in Whom I have believed and know that I have inherited the righteousness of Christ -- don't need to stand on my own. Like Job, I know my Redeemer lives.
To: sinkspur
So you think people are going to accept God because He killed thousands of people in a hurricane? The sad thing is there are many people who would answer that questin with a resounding YES.

"I know in Whom I have believed and know that I have inherited the righteousness of Christ "
But you have a form of righteousness without the love of God.
