The black caucus is giving state and local authorities a pass.

The Poliburo Diktat has a brief roundup of current blogger responses to the Gulf Coast disaster, grouped by Left and Right. All of the Right bloggers are posting about relief and aid, while all but three of the bloggers on the Left are wall-to-wall Bush-bashing.

The Black Caucus and the NAACP will portray state and local officials as the victims, who cried out for help while Bush was on vacation and did nothing.

You'll see little halos over the Mayor and the Gub'nor after this boils down. Halos of innocent grief. And race cards by the truckload will be dumped on the WH lawn.
