Funny you should mention that... I was thinking the same thing...
Every board I go on it's the same strange mix of arguements.. I really don't know what to think. One minute I'm in tears watching what I see on television - the next I'm angry that these people didn't take personal responsibility to get themselves out. Early on you'd see "phone interviews" on Fox - O'reilly spoke to one old woman who was in her 70's.. she had her 90 something mom with her... it wasn't until the next day I remembered her saying the cord was long enough to get to the porch?! So her land line worked? How did she get O'reilly's number? Or how did O'reilly get in touch with her?
The reporting is very confusing .. at times I think they're trying to show it like it is.. then I feel like I'm being manipulated...
sorry- just ranting... I think everyone is frustrated at the situation.. plus I really do not think we can put our arms around the magnitude of the whole thing.
I'll become angry later with those people who could have gotten out, but chose not to. Nobody, even those who made stupid mistakes or lacked common respect for authority should deserve the punishment they are getting.
There is time to be angry later.
Funny you should mention that, I saw the interview and thought the same thing, LOL. That was very strange.
BTW, I am frankly getting very tired of OReilly and his attitude during this whole crisis. I am not am OReilly fan, but do watch him. However, this week he is worst than usual, IMO. He is short with people, cutting them off, and his arrogant, condescending attitude has become so bad I have stopped watching him.
