That's quite a quote, especially given the dithering of the last couple days. "More than willing to do so," it almost sounds like a backhanded slap at the military, as though they'd be pleased to shoot their fellow Americans. Of course, it's past time to restore order and deal with the thugs, but it just struck me as over-the-top wording.
Note she doesn't ever say she has actually authorized them to shoot to kill. Talk's cheap, signed orders and rules of engagement are something else altogether.
Moreover it provides no direction at all. It does not say, "I have authorized them to use lethal force against any person threatening a rescue worker" (or however you want to phrase it)
I am certain that as soon as a few of these slimeballs are taken out there will be a great flapping of wings and denunciations about why the cops/NG are killing innocent civilians who "only wanted to feed their families".
