France lost more than hundreds. It was over 20,000 as I recall; my brother and sil were in France that summer while we babysat their two daughters.

I looked it up because that poster made a great point about how many people France lost because it was hot. Because it was HOT!!!

14,800+ died in France in 2003 because it was hot.
