Oh...good plan! The folks in Mississippi have my respect. They are behaving the way all good citizens should...helping each other to clean up, praying, and consoling one another.
What a difference in the aftermath I am seeing in footage of towns in MI versus what is happening in NO.
Even Chrissy Matthews noted this on his show tonight.
They had a story from NO and a story from Biloxi.
The NO people were angry, the Biloxi people were grateful.
That being said, Biloxi has been easier to get aid into than NO, so that might account for the difference in attitude.
Those people were great. Took personal responsibility for not evacuating and now are being as self sufficient as possible.
