I bumped this to frontpage. I've been looking for a denial from Hagel for days, I knew this couldn't be true.

Hagel has a track record as a Bush-bashing RINO, so it's not hard to believe that he did kiss up to Cindy. He realized after talking with her that he had made his bed among moonbats, and that it could come back to haunt him in the future. Faced with that, he reverted to the old deny, deny, deny political tactic.

I agree. If Hagel's relying on his flack to speak for him, it's not believable.
Flacks are hired to either lie or obfuscate for their masters.
I've had experience with this recently. In my area of NJ, a local Republican pol running for governor publically bashed Tom DeLay and called on him to resign. (What Tom DeLay has to do with NJ gubernatorial politics is beyond me. But the pol had to grandstand I guess).
I told the pol's campaign manager I couldn't vote for a guy who bashed Tom DeLay.
The flack just flatly asserted to me that his master had never, ever said such a thing.
But he had. On statewide TV.
What you said. All her "facts" are fed to her daily by Mike the Liar. No doubt in my mind at all. She even picked up his disgusting "freedom fighters" (a/k/a the thugs who killed her son) meme.

She is a bigot, an anti-semite and a LIAR. I would believe Hagel over her any day.
Sheehan is a captive of her irrational hatred of America.
