I saw it at lunch. Sheppard was quite excited to show the footage of the poor soul who died and was left on the road.
It could be argued that the reality of this needs to be driven home to the rest of us.
Sheppard's handling of the situation was clumsy, and without grace. I have no respect for the man.
This morning a CNN reporterette was describing the horrible conditions within the Superdome - dead bodies, rapes, etc..- mentioned that noone had food or water. She also mentioned that she and her crew did have water and was told by rescuers not to say it too loud to let anyone around her hear that. She could've shared her water with others who were suffering more that she was.
