My husband was just about to leave and help our buddy in Pascagoula but decided to remain as things are getting too jittery at the pumps (those that are left) We gave him our truck, a generator, supplies and our prayers. It is just too weird down here. Can't explain.

I stated in another post that I personally experienced total loss (big fire in S.F. Bay area a dozen years ago) so I'm probably one of only a few here that have been through a total loss. Try to stay calm, because these first couple of weeks are the worst in terms of craziness. I think it's just raw survival instinct and it is a terrible, terrible thing to go through. You are probably already seeing people at their worst - frightening and unexpected, to say the least. Our prayers are with you.
