I have found scarce little to confirm the accuracy of this story so far but did find something in the Australian Daily Telegraph.
Some others have noticed this ref too. This is one of the excerpts:
Mr McQueen, a utility manager for the town of Abita Springs, half an hour north of New Orleans, told relatives that patients had been "put down", saying: "They injected them, but nurses stayed with them until they died."
Sure, this has been going on regularly for some time as I was eyewitness several years ago. I can understand the sympathy in such cases. Still, the murder of Terri makes it easier to accept euthanasia in general as sort of acceptable, especially with heart wrenching stories which are so close to explainable.
Coming up to bat is Scott Thomas
about to get the treatment as he struggles to survive.

Why would they have to kill their patients? I have not heard about this.
However, I did hear about the nursing home employees who abandoned their patients and allowed them to drown in their beds! What happened to their evacuation plan?
They should all lose their licenses and be tried for manslaughter.
re: Scott Thomas--I just don't understand why spouses don't just leave...why this? Why the spite in everything Michael did to Terri???
The baby girl passed away. Remember the mother who was on life support to deliver her? I don't have any links on me.
There have been discussions on the Terri threads about "next thing you know, they'll decide that lethal injections are acceptable." Of course, this has probably been going on prior to Katrina.
