"You are a godless atheist, so I don't expect you to understsand. "
I understand this:
1. If there were a deity, it would not do as you suggest happened in this disaster, unless it was an evil deity.
2. You seem to think your deity just might do such a thing.
3. I think I'll pass on your deity, thanks.
4. You live in Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh is an evil city, full of evil people. Pittsburgh is next, then, according to your twisted sense of the Christian religion.
A disaster has occurred. Your deity had nothing to do with it. Indeed, the worst section of N.O. is the French Quarter. There is no flooding there. Did your deity miss?
I suspect that other posters don't particularly want to hear a religious discussion, so I'm signing off. I like a lot of what you've said in earlier posts. You've brought a lot of good, solid sense into how to deal in this crisis. Thanks.
I respect you, and I have read many of your posts. You are intelligent and you seek truth.
Yes, there is suffering in this world. There is evil. Bu you are asking much larger questions now, questions that bring your own life and your own purpose of why you were created into question itself. That is good, for it may lead you into the light.
Please sir, could you read this? It won't take long.
Ravi is a friend of mine, a very kind and humble man. His words move my soul.
Take care MM.
