I'm afraid the only alternative that's going to work in the jungle that is now new orleans is to have one of the good guys open up on one of the bad guy shooters with a .50 cal. Once the other looters see their buddy literally cut in two with one shot, they'll quickly change their minds. Besides, how long can pilfered walmart ammo last?
I hate to say that this could happen in the USA, but by God, shooting the hand that's trying to help/rescue/feed you isn't "social rebellion", it's just out and out violence for no other reason than violence.
It's absolutely insane. I'm ashamed to think that these are my countrymen. I'm deeply ashamed that people overseas are going to witness Americans behaving like this.
