The media rarely helps anything. A poster earlier said their station wasn't mentioning it. Frankly, that is probably a good thing. Talk about it and more people will show up at the stations. It will work out in a few days.

I'm a Deputy Sheriff in a county on I-24 Middle TN. We have had a run on fuel today, everyone filling up and stations are running out. Our Fuel man cuts off public sales at a predetermined level in order to support emergency services. I was called an advised by my Sheriff to top off my tank this afternoon before shift end. The Fuel man had already shut off public sales and turned on just long enough to fuel our Patrol Cars, Ambulance and Fire Trucks.

I remember 911, that night I broke up several fights at gas stations patrolled nothing but gas lots all of my shift.

We were also advised that fuel would go from $2.72 to $3.25 per gallon tomorrow AM.

It may not...Drudge headline says up to 10 airports may close due to fuel shortage

In Arizona last year we had a pipeline break and the panic took weeks to work out.
