Whether or not it was a good plan, the SuperDome seats over 70,000 people.

Monday night there were less than 5,000 people there.

And nobody was turned away at the door.

How would they have processed 70,000 people before the storm hit. They barely got hte people in they had in time for the storm. Remember all those scary combs they showed us, those people trying to smuggle in the dome.

Speaking of leadership, I was watching TWC and Jim Cantore and his partner commented at how the Mayor of Gulfport "rocked" and they were excited at how he seemed to be leading the people left in the community. Stark difference from NO.
