Last night on CNN, Nancy Grace gave a green light to looters and blasted the (federal) government's allegedly slow response.
I saw that too - Nancy is a hardliner on law & order - it surprised me
The talking heads have very little understanding of the logistical problems facing the Fed's efforts. And Chertoff/FEMA were only very recently greenlighted to take over from the inept local and state relief flailings. They couldn't even plan because there was precious little data to go on. I keep hearing, "why no massive airdrops?" while at the same time we know good and well that until sometime yesterday we hadn't mapped out places for airdrops not covered by water!
The Feds have mobilized with lightning speed, given the obstacles to progress that exist. I'm getting d@mn tired of the complaints, they aren't helping.
