Becoming 'top of the fold' coverage in Japan, too. They are reporting, in Japanese to the people in Japan, widespread "ryakudatsu" (looting) occuring 'in this large American city'. Japanese press now carrying this photo:

I think it was the chief of police on Charleston who told his officers that they didn't have a place to put looters and so the cops should just beat them up.
