FNC: 30 people evacuated from Tulane Hospital; had left kids in intensive care. WIfe and son of one family were airlifted out by helicopter and taken to Houston. Father left behind.
Later report from Jeff Goldblatt said that special transport had been sent in to take those parents out. But they weren't taking the "left behind" parents to Houston, but to another place where they could then find a way to Houston.
One story was of the little boy that had just had a bone marrow transport and had to be air evaced with his mother holding on the his medical equipment as they were lifted up to the chopper.
