I agree.

The pre-storm advice from Nagin and Blanco was shoddy

and now...it's pretty much the same

Blanco is sure no Iron Lady

and Nagin is no Guiliani


Orleans Parish is machine Dem....but...in all fairness....that doesn't matter right now...as far as compassion

I watched Blanco today for the first time and was greatly surprised with her performance. She was flustered by an anchor woman's question, had a ' deer in the head lights ' look about her and did not appear to have any leadership assertion or confidence whatsoever.
