This is recent vid, earlier this afternoon and they were loading up folks to go to Houston.
Also lots of military folks on top of SD unloading "who knows what" probly food H20 etc.

Just watched 15min of video from WHOU of a chopper overflight of the beachfront out toward Gulf Shores/Gulfport/Biloxi.
With few exceptions, most everything ~500yds in from the waterline is scoured 'clean'.
Swimming pools and slabs, everything else is a row of trees and what used to be houses back by the railroad, where the surge evidently lost its steam.

There are no words.
It truly looks like some kind of linear nuclear detonation.

The Grand Casino in Gulfport was picked out of the water and deposited on Rt. 90.

I went to Manhattan the week after 9/11 and it was unspeakable.
With no disrespect intended, this is even more so.
