I would not go to Superdome when a CAT5 with 225MPH gusts was bearing down on me. I want OUT of the city.

Fine, you and me both.

But what if you couldn't get out, would you still not go to the SuperDome but stay in wooden house ten feet below sea level?

Yes, I would get on a bus. I think many people thought the storm would "turn". They weren't educated to the seveirty of the situation. Many probably only heard little snippets about the storm from a friend, maybe a little news report. It isn't like all these poor people were fastidioulsy tracking this storm and paying attention to all the news reports beforehand. It ain't excuses. I am saying NO had NO plan and I want to know WHY there was NO plan as it was a KNOWN problem and we gave them millions in disaster preparation funds. If you don't ahve a evac for CAT5 hurricane plane, where is your evac for dirty nuke plan? Execute that one...
