In Bay St. Louis and Pass Christian it looks like not a single house is left standing.

I read somewhere last night on FR that nothing was left standing at Pass Christian.

That's not how it looked to me. I looked at quite a few of the NOAA photos of BSL, and there were many houses totally destroyed, many seriously damaged, but also many seemingly intact and relatively unscathed. I'm not trying to minimize the destruction, but it looked like some houses further away from the shore didn't take a real bad hit.
