I love these threads. I'm glad MoDo woke up from her summer vacation.
But . . . she may miss the moment when Americans are looking for someone to emerge . . . to articulate their anger about Iraq or their fear about a Supreme Court that will scale back women's rights and civil rights here, as Islamic courts do the same in Iraq.
Dowd is so confused she's laughable. She actually is trying to ask people to get mad about Iraq because we aren't doing enough for women's rights over there. Compared to Saddam's regime, the new Iraq has more women in positions of political power than any other nation in the region. And she tries to throw in a thinly-disguised John Roberts attack as well, as if he was one of Saddam's henchmen.
Honestly, this article is exhibit #1 for Dowd being a crackpot.
