Can someone give an analysis of how Gov. Blanco and Gov. Barbour are handling this event, and the future political impact of their performance?
I know it is early, but this could be a key event in the run up to their next election campaign.

I know it is early, but this could be a key event in the run up to their next election campaign. My assessment: If the people of Louisiana reelect that dud Blanco after this... they deserve her. Barbour has been great; honest, forthright and decisive.

Barbour are handling this event, and the future political impact of their performance?---- I don't know about Barbour, but I can tell you that "Lisping Bitch" Blanco will run for re-election in 2007 as The Courageous Leader Who Saw Us All Through Katrina, and that the people of Louisiana will buy it and give her 65% of the vote along with another four years to embarrass us.
