These refugees aren't going to be anywhere for just weeks or months.

Most of them will be homeless with no job or means of support.

People will help for awhile, but not forever..

HORRORS! Fox is showing pictures of the people in the Dome throwing their TRASH into the waters outside the SuperDome.

Prayer for Houston.

Mayor of NO saying that "hundreds, maybe thousands may be dead in NEW ORLEANS." per CNN.

Don't forget that there will be lots of jobs in the area rebuilding. If people can help with reconstruction, then there will be jobs.

You are right...people won't help forever, but people that want to help themselves will be given chances...

I just have my doubts about how many will take advantage...maybe the ones in the dome...they at least went to where they were told to go...

the looters and people out on the streets...dunno if they will "help themselves".

I don't mind helping financially or otherwise, but not indefinitely if the victims don't try to get jobs or make other arrangements, attend school, etc....

BUT, regardless, we will all be paying for a long time ---taxes, doncha know!
