Just a question that has been nagging at me. When they finally opened the Super Bowl and ordered mandatory evacuation, did they mention any plans to move the old, infirm, poor (pick any or all of the choices) or was it left up to them to get there by themselves?

TIA

They had buses running around New Orleans doing pickups up until 6 pm Sunday. I assume that they started when they opened up the SuperDome (somewhere around 10 am IIRC, but don't quote me on that).

Jefferson Parish residents will be allowed to come back one week from now to get valuables left, and then leave for a month.

WWL-TV anchor estimates 24-48 hours before the four Navy Carriers arrive for humanitarian relief.
