I'm sorry folks, call this another holly roller rant. But if this story is true and is indictive of the morals of the public officials down there, just maybe it was time for Katrina.
We covered it an hour ago. What can you say? They should be identified and fired.
The two women are rejects. The majority of our police officers would not behave that way and most of them are not only doing their job, but going over and above what would normally be demanded of them. Heaven only knows what they are dealing with right now.
Perhaps there is a need for footwear amongst the refugees. I saw one picture of two small girls being offloaded from a helicopter. One girl was missing a flipflop. She needs a pair of shoes.
Walk through that kind of water, and it'll suck the sneakers right off your feet. Let's just decide that these policewomen are trying to help out the victims, and not stocking up on cheap azz dress shoes for themselves.
