How do you get them out?
The water is still rising, and the thousands of souls in the Superdome are still swelling.
On ramp to I-10 west dumps into Super Dome parking lot. Big trucks (or maybe even walking) would put the people on I-10/US90 west to be picked up by buses.
The military is moving in large transport helos right now. They will start taking them out 30 to 40 at a time. It's going to take a long time, but they'll get it done. I also expect they will be moving in some high center transports and I heard that the swiftboats are being brought in.
I'm afraid that if action is not taken SOON, like getting them out or using some massive pumps, they will drown. Disease is going to be more than rampant.
