Hmmm,,I don't remember it. I lived at the corner of Claiborne and Canal 40 years ago and then on Canal Street near Broad. This was in the good old days.
There was some reason I used to catch the Broad bus at that corner, across the street. The Parish Prison had some neat Art Deco bas reliefs that caught my eye while waiting. City or Parish court was right next to it.
