Do you know if the people at Tulane Hosp. get airlifted out?
Yup. I remember his appearances just before the storm, he was totally pessimistic, very dour. Now we know why.
How is it there? You obviously have power!
Lifes have been saved how do you know whats she doing. I suspect if she hasnt got the details all ironed out where to put up a 150,000 person refugee camp which isnt suprising
with perhaps a "tune in next week" occasionally...
"The crews were there as well as local people that man the airport it was stupid decision by the airlines"
Just how many people do you think the airlines could have "saved?" The airlines can't just take anyone and fly them anywhere and drop them off. They would have been responsible for people with reservations that day. And do you know how many that was? Surely not the tens of thousands who are in N.O. now.
wind and waves
The PRESIDENT has been dealing with this all day. Mr. Bush is just not a glory hound.
That's not the worst of it: poor Shep is running out of feminine hygeine products...
Agreed. Well said. :-)
Only thing I know about Hattiesburg is they got 100-mph winds. I'd expect that power and phone lines are down all over the place.
Yes they did!! TY for saying so GOP
Why don't I want to click that link?
YEEAH!!!!
I was worried about you!
Never met you, but when I found out you were going to a shelter, Mr. Mabelkitty and I prayed you'd be okay.
Glad to hear it.
>>We won't know the total death toll for DAYS, maybe weeks.
>Or ever? This is an American Pompeii.
You think? I imagine come next election, New Orleans population will have surged. I'm sure only Republicans died in the hurricane... at least that's what the voter rolls will reflect in 2006/8.
I would think that Gulf Port or Biloxi could use you more right now. They are going to evacuate NO. I am sure that you could contact the Salvation Army or So Baptist Disaster Relief.
I think if they honored the flights they had that day it would have helped
