I always wonder what we'd do and if our EOC would flood in the event of a major storm...our city EOC is downtown near 8th street and 4 ave south.

Was it the EOC in Stuart had damage last year - either that or one of the LEO buildings?

After Hurricane Andrew, the Sheriff's LEO were living at what was left of the Holiday Inn because all their homes were destroyed. They let us take showers in their hotel rooms (and we shared some cold beers too).

Guess where New York City's EOC was located until 9/11.

There's always a second way, if the will is there.
