What can I do to help? Is that info available yet? My heart is breaking for the people in the area affected by this. I just saw a video of a man, last name Jackson, who lost his wife as the roof they were on split apart. He had two young sons by the hands. It's gut-wrenching. I have room in my home. Even though I'm in the North, I can help.

Two organizations that are ready to mobilize are the Salvation Army and the Red Cross. Within the next 2-3 days, expect all sorts of local groups throughout the nation (churches, news/radio stations, etc.) to organize relief efforts via donations. I'm sure you'll find it in your newspapers and local tv news.

The immediate priority in the affected areas is search and rescue for the next couple of days.

Yes, I saw the the video of Mr. Jackson. My heart goes out to him and his family. Very tragic about his lose, very sad. Another tragedy is that this poor man does not know how, or cannot speak properly. Also very sad to see.
