D-Day should be ok most of the artifacts are on 2nd floor. But the Cabildo and art museum in City Park, very sad.

Thanks you guys...they were planning a big event there in the first part of October; a friend of mine was booked to speak. I have a pretty good hunch that it "ain't gonna happen" (as they say) at this point.

That's the least of anyone's concerns, though - I was just thinking about it and thought I'd ask.

(My dad has a brick in the walkway there.)

There's a Confederate Museum about two blocks from the D-Day museum as well.

Haven't been there- but according to their web site (http://www.confederatemuseum.com) they have (or had) an impressive collection of artificats.
