Which means that everything that was in the sewer lines was pushed into the Superdome ahead of the floodwaters.

They have 48 hours to get everyone out of there. 72 max before serious disease outbreaks happen and folks start going insane.

WOW. It just seems to get worse.

I told my wife Sunday morning that if the city flooded, the Superdome was gonna get horrific, akin to Andy DuFrane crawling down that sewer pipe in Shawshank Redemption.

There is no power except for lights. Limited ventilation (from the holes in the roof, they are probably a blessing now). Limited water and food. And now a sewer line's worth of sh** has backed up into the facility, along with all the crap and urine that has been accumlating because the toilets stopped flushing when the power went out.

Like Red said, I can't imagine it, probably because I don't want to imagine it.
