It's frightening to hear that Hattiesburg is devastated. My cousin did find out my aunts survived in Purvis (12 miles SSW), and the house is still standing, but no other info yet. Scary.
Oh No! My dad was supposed to leave Long Beach and go to Hattiesburg...I have heard nothing from him since Saturday
Estimates on power outages in Hattiesburg according to the mayor are at least through the end of the week..perhaps into next week.
