God bless Mr. Wanniski and his family.

I think he was a great man, an American visionary whose work truly made the world a better place. His legacy includes lifting up the less fortunate in this country, and, increasingly, around the world. That's a lot for a man.

He will be missed.

He did raise the point that there is a level where government taxation is detrimental. The evidence over the last 25 years shows that the theory was right, it's just that the Laffer curve was too simplistically demonstrated (or too simplistically drawn on a chart for example.)

The evidence shows that low taxation economies have grown faster and there is clearly a point reached by high taxation economies where growth is stunted.

Good thing a few people took the theory seriously. It saved the US and quite a few other countries.
