Weldon said previously that a few weeks after 9/11 he gave the chart to Steven Hadley, who was then Deputy National Security Advisor (#2 to Condi Rice) and who then became the National Security Advisor when Condi became Sec'y of State. I hope Weldon's remark tonight means that he has confirmed that Hadley still has the chart, and I sure do hope the chart will show what is claimed for it, especially the name of ATTA and others in his cell. Weldon has spoken of FIVE cells of Al Qaeda that were identified by ABLE DANGER in 1999-2000. I sure do hope that's what will be revealed if/when we finally do get to see "the chart" and other AD documentation (assuming some docs may still exist somewhere....).
I would love to see this pinned squarely on Clinton and Berger, but I feel like it is best to wait and see where the facts fall first. Would hate to find out that someone in the Bush administration squashed it because they didn't want anything to reflect badly on Rice, knowing she was going to be a "star".
You know the media. Sandy Burglar steals secrets and it is a one day story. Condi Rice gets an "ambiguous" memo in August and the press drags that out for weeks.
That being said, if Curt Weldon pulls this off, we owe him and owe him "big time!"
That's the way it sounded to me.
