"That sometimes involves breaking things. In an July 2001 interview with The International Socialist Review, Fithian who told NRO she's been arrested "probably at least 30 times" spoke of moving beyond the tradition of civil disobedience as practiced by Gandhi or Martin Luther King Jr.; her inspiration, she explained, was not so much those leaders as the anarchist movement in Spain in the late 19th and early 20th century. And that meant different ways of doing things. "Nonviolence is a strategy. Civil disobedience is a tactic," Fithian said. "Direct action is a strategy. Throwing rocks is a tactic."
Well, then, perhaps we should take her advice, and greet the infamous Squealing Cindy with a shower of rocks! Direct action, after all! Do stop sticks count? ;-)
Cindy Sheehan blew whatever moral currency she had due to her heroic son the second the focus of the "protest" became about her and not him. That was probably day 2. Once the Moveon.org flying monkeys came in and provided her with scripts for her appearances, that degenerated her cause into nothing more than an deluded, extremist, liberal primal scream.
Sheehan is a Muppet of the left.
That would be a "deluded, extremist, liberal fund-raising primal scream".
This whole affair is less about changing votes than it is opening wallets.
