They seem to be focusing on only a couple area due to the inaccessible roads. Looting has gone out of control..they're stealing from all the wal marts, but not just food, firearms as well. Woodmere WM has been looted and the people running out with weapons are firing on the police responding, according to local PD depts. This is going to get worse, and I intend to return Friday to assess the damage to my home. Marshall law is in effect now for Jefferson parish, where I use to live. 1st reports indicating we were spared, thank God. All of NO is still 80% under water now, and flooding at a rate of 1 foot per hour . USArmyCorps of Engineers is trying to locate the breaks, they're saying as many as 3 major breaches, 1/2 river 1/2 lake

This will get worse..there's still 10K people in the superdome in need of evacuation. The predators are coming out of the wood works to prey on all the homes/ cars in hotels, refuge centers and the police cannot be every where at once..I hope most are armed for defense. A pawn shop in NO has been looted and burned to the ground. Just heard the Walmart in Algiers has been cleaned out completely. That's about 2 miles from my home. I may not return now..will wait for more news.

There's a big cargo plane on it's way. I hope it's full of rations and SOLDIERS. What use is it to declare marshall law (martial law) whatever if you don't enforce it? They caught a few looters this morning but many got away.

A SEAL, yes a seal somehow ended up on the side of a city street. He's pretty big. People all day have been trying to save this poor creature. Where would a seal come from? (CNN-Anderson Cooper). I've been watching CNN because they've had the least commercials. MSNBC the and Fox are tied for commercial breaks.
