Why weren't plans in place to do this? We've been wondering that since yesterday...also why they didn't shut things down & start getting those tourists out of there by lunchtime yesterday.

We've been wondering that since yesterday...also why they didn't shut things down & start getting those tourists out of there by lunchtime yesterday. I heard that one of the delays at the hotels was that they were still going through the formalities of checking people out of their rooms.
Stupid. The hotel management should have simply told everyone to get going and deal with figuring out the bills later.
