I'm late getting on the thread, but been watching the TV a bit, and just eyeballing it, I am wondering if the Models may be off slightly, they already have shifted the track to the west some.

There is NO WAY that this will miss NO, and it is even less likely that it will hit Houston.

The movement west they are talking about is only miles worth. The only thing that will save NO now is divine intervention.

The Weather Channel just said that the cane is FINALLY starting to take the expected turn to the north!

Well if it hit just to the east of NO, they catch a huge break since hurricanes are much stronger on the eastern side plus wind direction wont have as much an impact on storm surge. Mobile is in big trouble if it hits too far to the east though. Best case scenario is for it to weaken and hit about 20 miles to the east of NO. Pray.
