I'm watching the WDSU report from the Superdome and there are thousands of short-tempered people waiting to get in. Each one is being patted down before being admitted. They may be there for as long as three days. From the interviews I saw, not everyone has brought food and water, and there will be no food provided. This just looks to me like it has the makings of a survival of the fittest strongest type situation. I wouldn't want to be there...

not everyone has brought food and water, and there will be no food provided. WHAT?? This is the designated emergency shelter...how can they NOT provide food and water? This is nuts.
