Ham and Lima Beans...... I still remember the layer of grease when opening the can. Couldn't eat it. I always lost weight on field problems.
One 'hillbilly', would buy them by the case at the commissary.

MREs are a delicacy. The only thing that C's had going for them is the ability to use the B-2 cans as stoves, if you had some C4 or some Trioxane.
