I hope Shep will be able to get to the roof, or at least someplace higher. From what I remember, there are taller buildings there, but it sounds like the one he's in will be underwater before this is over.

I'm concerned about Shep. Bourbon Street is not the place to be to ride out this storm - even in a 7th story hotel room. Prayers up for Shep and his fellow media guys.

I suppose those businesses figure that boarded windows won't keep water out. It's just so sad.
