Roll Call time. There are far too many FReepers in the path of and near the storm that have not been accounted for. There are far too many red marks on the map. Please check in if you are pinged to this message or you know any of the FReepers marked in yellow on the map.

I'm just fine -- Lafayette never even lost power. My grandmother in Baton Rouge DID lose power, as I feared, but we brought her over here this morning and she's relaxing in our air-conditioned living room as I type.

Spiff, we have not heard from my Father-in-Law yet. They are in Lutcher, and according to a post on WWL's website (TV/radio station out of NO) their area of Lutcher is mostly OK. I think they likely got through the storm OK, but he is 93, so we are concerned about his health getting through the aftermath.
If anybody has heard anything else about Lutcher please let me know. Their land lines and cells are still not working. Spiff, thanks for doing this!

I survived with minor damage to my home, but my family lost two homes, three auto's, and one business. We are far more fortunate than some.
Sorry it took so long for me to reply, but working 18 hour days cleaning up and demolishing has kept me away from the computer. Thanks to all that have worried about us!
God bless,
LLS
