Did NOAA lose a bouy?

I've been monitoring one in the Gulf 260NM South of Panama City, at this link:
http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=42003

Now it says it has no reports.

yes--buoy 42003 went down at 1150PM last night.

I noticed that, too.

Here are recent observations near Katrina.

Gusts over 50 knots, waves over 20 feet.
